Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Scones |
- 3 cups almond flour (my favorite brand)
- ½ tsp unrefined sea salt (where to buy)
- 4 Tbl vanilla coconut sugar (where to buy)
- 1 Tbl flax meal (take whole flax seeds and grind them in a blender)
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted (where to buy)
- ½ cup organic applesauce
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease baking sheet
- Add all the dry ingredients into one bowl and mix well
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl; add the rest of the wet ingredients to the eggs
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well; batter will be thick and not runny
- Pour into a circular shape; bake for 15-18 minutes
- After the scones have cooled, cut into triangles and enjoy
