DIY Eye Makeup Remover
Confession: I had a bottle of paraben-laden face wash that I used for makeup remover until it ran out. When it ran out, I somewhat panicked. I didn’t want to spend the money on an expensive “all-natural” makeup remover that has questionable ingredients and I didn’t want to buy more toxic makeup remover. For the longest time I chose to not wear makeup because I didn’t have a solution.
Plus, to me putting on makeup requires energy and it also requires energy to take it off at night when I am dead tired from running around chasing a little booger all day. Ehhh, I chose the lazy option. However, I couldn’t not wear makeup for the rest of my life. Mama’s gotta feel pretty some days. So what’s a girl to do?
What do you do to take your makeup off? Are you like me? Do you have a bottle of not-so-good stuff that you are using? Want a better option but don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount on “natural” products?
I’m here to happily announce that you can ditch those expensive, chemical-laden makeup removers for something ridiculously simple and easy to make. It’s so monumental that you could ditch that bottle today and make your new makeup remover with ingredients you likely have already.

Great tip! I’ve never tried it. I use coconut oil. But I bet the witch hazel works great! Here’s my makeup remove, but I’m going to try witch hazel soon:
